In the more than two years since introducing Freeport Edge behaviors, we have made great progress in integrating them into our daily work. This transition was important and set us on a course to develop new ways of working, with the goal of unlocking the full potential of each employee. 

(June 9, 2022) A team of forward thinkers at Climax has rolled out a new recruitment strategy that makes the standard-issue job fair seem as last-century as the typewriter. 

Though some job fair staples like foam board placards and tchotchkes still endure, the presentation from Climax representatives offered a way for students to start preparing for a full- or part-time job that starts the day they leave school – whether it’s college, junior college or high school. 

(June 6, 2022) Coming soon to a company coffee kiosk in your area: Papua coffee, a full-bodied Arabica coffee with sultry mocha and fruit overtones grown in the Papuan Highlands by local farmers, many of them mentored and supported by PT Freeport Indonesia. 

That's the goal of the Papua Coffee Showcase Project at PTFI’s Nemangkawi Mining Institute, and its plan is to introduce the world to Papua coffee – one kiosk at a time.
