The Dozer #2 rebuild is complete and was delivered back to Climax on August 4th. We would like to thank the Wagner group out of Grand Junction for all their hard work they put in on this dozer. To tear down each component and build it back up to “like new” condition is truly remarkable.

Bagdad July Safe Production

Climax sent a delegation of employees to participate in the Colorado Mining Association Annual Golf Tournament as a reward for exhibiting Freeport Edge Behaviors.

A Beautiful Day in Mining Thiess and Climax have made great progress in Phase 4. There is good communication between multiple pieces of equipment working in that area. Operators are being aware and taking ownership of the roads out there, calling out areas that need work that could potentially cause damage to the equipment. Keep up the good work!

The Climax Mine Rescue Team met with Leadville Lake County Fire and EMS this week to conduct joint training and provide a brief tour of areas of interest. Thanks to Mine Ops and Maintenance for letting us use a haul truck for our extraction exercise. Thanks to the Assay Lab and Warehouse for the tours. And thanks to Dead Weight Dan for always playing the victim like the professional he is.
