Around the Company in Pictures: Holiday Cheer

By svc-ewscms, 16 May, 2025

Ringing in the HolidaysIt’s the most wonderful time of the year, and there’s nothing better than spreading holiday cheer.

Over the past few weeks, employees at Freeport’s North America sites have engaged with their communities to bring joy and support over the holiday season. From gift and food donations to creating and assembling art installations, site teams have been dedicated to making a positive impact during this festive season.

In the photos (clockwise from top left): Toys collected by the Bagdad Social Performance team await distribution to area children. Colorado’s giving tree was the place for Henderson and Climax employees to leave their donated gifts. A New Mexico Operations truck shines bright in the Silver City Lighted Christmas Parade, where the company tied for third place, then followed with the Best Commercial Float Award at the Village of Santa Clara Lighted Christmas Parade. Used tires also function as a Santa Claus decoration in Safford, where employees issued a friendly challenge to make holiday decorations from used materials.

New Mexico employees Duane Frost, Line Electrician (left); Kolton Guerra, Temporary Worker-Mine Operations; Gary Littleton, Line Electrician; and Xzavier Enciso, Temporary Worker-Electrical, stop for a photo in front of one of the parade floats. Tanayia White (right), Lead Native American Affairs Specialist, helps the Morenci team deliver 675 pounds of beef, 162 pounds of pork and 82 pounds of sheep to Joel Nicholas at the Hopi Tribe’s Cultural Preservation Center. A 15-foot-tall holiday display (center photo) created by Marie Gonzalez, Administrative Assistant II, Environmental/Sustainable Development-Sierrita, and her colleagues welcomes visitors to the site.
