Take time now to carefully review and make any changes to your 2025 elections through Benefitfocus, the company’s new enrollment website, before the annual enrollment period ends at midnight EST on Monday, November 4.
With Benefitfocus, you no longer will receive a benefits confirmation statement after the enrollment period. Instead, benefit election confirmation is available in real time as enrollment is completed. It is critical you make sure your benefits are noted correctly in the system before enrollment ends. Details on how to do so are provided in the Annual Benefits Enrollment Guide.
In addition to your benefit options, make sure your selections accurately reflect the following:
Dependents – if you add a dependent, you must provide documentation (marriage and/or birth certificates, etc.) supporting your dependents' eligibility no later than December 31 or they will not be added to your coverage. View acceptable documents.
2025 Flexible Spending Account Limit Increase – The 2025 maximum contribution allowed by the IRS increased to $3,300 for Health-Care and Limited Purpose FSAs, and the new maximum rollover amount increased to $660. To increase your FSA based on this change, please make the update through Benefitfocus.
2025 Spending Accounts – HSA and FSA elections do not carry over. You must actively re-enroll for 2025 through Benefitfocus.
Beneficiaries – To update or add beneficiaries, simply go to the Your Life Coverage section of the enrollment website and click the Edit button to name the persons or entities you want to receive your life insurance proceeds. Also, check the correct address is listed for each beneficiary.
Keep in mind, if you do not actively make benefit elections during the enrollment period, your 2024 coverage automatically will roll over for 2025.
