In connection with the strategic importance of our sustainability initiatives, regulatory planning, energy strategy and environmental management activities, we are pleased to announce expanded responsibilities for the following individuals:
- Sheila Deely will be named Assistant General Counsel and Vice President-Corporate Environmental Affairs. She will continue to lead our regulatory efforts and environmental services function and assume expanded responsibility for providing environmental support to our Indonesia operations. Sheila will continue to report to Douglas Currault, Executive Vice President and General Counsel and Bill.
- Francis McAllister will be named Vice President-Energy, Land and Water in the FM Technical Services organization, taking additional responsibility for our energy services group, with a focus on expanding our clean energy projects. Johnny Key, Director-Energy and Power Management, and Mark Hanson, Director-Energy Management, will report to Francis. Given the integral importance of land, water and energy to our ongoing operations and expansion efforts, these functions will become part of our technical services team. Francis will now report to Cory Stevens, Senior Vice President-Freeport-McMoRan Inc. and President-Freeport-McMoRan Technical Services. The liability management team will report directly to Bill after Francis transitions to his new role.
- Andrea Vaccari will be named Vice President-Responsible Production Frameworks and Sustainability. She will continue to be responsible for our climate initiatives and responsible production frameworks. She will assume the added oversight of social responsibility and community development. Tracy Bame, Director-Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Development will now report to Andrea. Andrea will continue to report to Bill who continues to serve as our Chief Sustainability Officer.
