I’m pleased to announce John Wilmot, Director-Metallurgy and Strategic Planning, will become General Manager-Colorado Operations effective July 1. John will have direct oversite of the Climax mine and overall responsibility for the Henderson mine. He will report to me.
Eric Wiese, Manager-Regional Supply Chain, will become General Manager-Henderson with direct oversite of the Henderson mine and mill effective July 1. He will report to John.
John joined the company in 2002 in the Concentrate Leaching group, staying there for six years before joining PTFI's Concentrating Division in 2008. He became Vice President-Concentrating in 2016, moving to his current role in 2022. He has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nevada-Reno and a doctorate in chemical and materials engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Eric joined the company in 2011 in the Global Supply Chain organization at the Climax mine. He’s held positions of increasing responsibility within the Climax Molybdenum Co. organization, including Manager-Regional Supply Chain for Colorado Operations and Special Projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Colorado State University.
