I am pleased to announce Steve Bradbury will be joining the organization as Director-Operational Strategy effective April 22. He will report to me.
In this newly created role, Steve will have responsibility for shaping strategic direction and operational efficiency across the Americas’ operations. He will collaborate closely with senior management and site leadership to develop both short-term and long-term strategic operating plans, helping to ensure alignment with organizational vision, goals and objectives. He also will provide oversight and guidance for significant projects and lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives.
Steve comes to us from McKinsey & Company where he engaged with global basic materials companies to drive high value outcomes in operations excellence, strategy, innovation, operations AI, digital transformation, and business building. Before that, he was chief operating officer at Dingo Software Proprietary Limited, providing asset health solutions for global asset intensive industries. Earlier in his career, Steve worked in direct mining operations management roles at PCS Phosphate and Exxon Coal and Minerals.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Willamette University.
In addition, the following changes will be effective May 1:
Steve Koski, General Manager-Technology Center, will assume the role of General Manager- Metallurgical Solutions. He will report to Ari Partanen, Vice President-Technical Services.
Bill Sircy, General Manager, Processing-Morenci, will become General Manager-Technology Center. He will report to Justin Cross, Vice President-Operational Improvement.
Jamie Davis, General Manager-Climax, will become General Manager-Processing at Morenci. He will report to Mike Kridel, Senior Vice President-Morenci. Vanessa Viterbo, Mine Manager-Climax, will serve as interim General Manager-Climax until a replacement for Jamie is named.
