April 12 is the deadline to submit wildlife photos near the company’s property like this entry of vicunas spotted near El Abra.There’s still time to submit your photos of flora and fauna to the company’s 14th annual Wildlife Photo Contest, which ends Friday, April 12.
Employees worldwide have submitted more than 450 photos, ranging from vicunas near El Abra to colorful birds at PTFI to blooming cactus in the U.S. Southwest. View all entries on the contest website.
Every year, the company’s annual Wildlife Photo Contest attracts hundreds of employees’ submissions showcasing photos of a diverse range of wildlife on or adjacent to company property. The winning entry appears on the company’s page of the Wildlife Habitat Council’s 12-month calendar, highlighting efforts by WHC members, such as Freeport, to support conservation and biodiversity efforts.
In addition, the top 12 finalists will be shared internally through various company communication channels, including a computer lock screen.
