Enterprise Workspace – a new, one-stop-shop for all things Freeport – soon will replace FM Web as the default homepage for everyone in North America, and is accessible on your computer, tablet and phone.
The app’s user-friendly interface is designed for quick access to company apps, forms, news and everything else you need—all in one app.
Enterprise Workspace (EWS) will provide:
- A centralized platform for company news and critical updates from various departments, including Human Resources, Health and Safety, MIS and others.
- A hub for the employee resources, information and applications required for a productive workday.
- Offline access to essential forms for frontline employees.
“It's a game-changer for how we more intuitively access and interact with Freeport resources,” said Jeff Champ, Senior Director, Digital Platforms & Development. “With the philosophy of having one place to go for news, information and resources, we will continue to evolve EWS over time with additional features and content.”
Most features from FM Web can be found in EWS, but in new places. For example, the frequently used navigation links are now located in the Services tab, while company apps are accessible through the App Launcher.
As part of its pilot, EWS already is being used by thousands of Freeport employees and contractors. Using feedback from these users, the EWS team is planning future enhancements and new features, such as site-based communication channels.
