Special Refer and Earn Bonuses Program Announced

Eligible employees who refer candidates between August 15 and October 31 can receive $2,000 for each successful hire for all externally posted North America full-time positions below executive level as part of a Refer and Earn Bonuses program. This includes OM5 and above mechanic and electrician positions covered under the Skilled Trades Employee Referral Program. 

“We continue to face a tight job market – we’ve filled some 2,000 jobs year-to-date yet have more than 1,500 current openings,” said Ryan Niesz, Director-Compensation and Recruiting. “We recognize our employees are a great resource for referrals to recruit top talent and hope this enhanced referral program will encourage them to share about opportunities at Freeport-McMoRan.” 

All regular, full-time North America employees below executive level – except for Human Resources staff and managers, superintendents and supervisors in the hiring chain – are eligible to receive the $2,000 referral bonus, subject to required taxes and withholdings, for each person referred and hired according to the conditions outlined in the Refer and Earn Bonuses program guidelines.
