The FCX Compliance Line website has a new look and feel – and web address – following a recent move by third-party provider Navex Global to a new incident management platform called EthicsPoint.
The website – fcxcompliance.ethicspoint.com – is available 24/7 for employees to file a confidential, anonymous report about a workplace concern or potential violation of the Principles of Business Conduct, a guide for how we do business and apply our core values to daily decisions and actions. The site also includes links to follow up on a report, information about the investigation process and general FAQs.
As part of the change, new hotline phone numbers have been issued for the company’s international locations. However, the hotline phone number for U.S. operations remains the same.
Posters with the new FCX Compliance Line information will be on display at company sites as a visual reminder of the importance of Speaking Up and of how to get help if needed. This information also has been updated in online versions of the PBC on FM Web and fcx.com.
Freeport is committed to promoting a safe and healthy workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging, is treated with respect and their opinions are valued. As such, every employee has a responsibility to report suspected violations of the PBC, company policies, procedures or the law to the appropriate personnel.
The company’s Open Door policy encourages employees to openly discuss concerns or questions with their supervisor or Human Resources. The FCX Compliance Line website and hotline also are available should an employee not be comfortable doing so.
Refer to the Principles of Business Conduct for more information.
