If you have a child in the last year of high school or currently enrolled as a full-time student in a two- or four-year undergraduate program at a college, university or hospital school of nursing, they may be eligible for a scholarship through the Freeport-McMoRan Scholarship Program.
The Freeport-McMoRan Scholarship Program awards scholarships to dependent children (as defined in the FM Scholarship Program Guidelines and Procedures), of full-time, active employees working at a U.S. location, as well as all expatriates or third-country nationals on a U.S. payroll. Transferred employees on temporary assignments are not eligible; however, they remain eligible for their home country programs.
The application process for the Freeport-McMoRan Scholarship Program is completely online. The applicant may visit https://aim.applyists.net/Freeport to set up an account with International Scholarship & Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS) and complete an online application for the 2022-2023 academic year.
You can apply online beginning now through January 27, 2022.
Each year, the program awards up to 20 new scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,500. To apply, your child must:
- Meet the program eligibility requirements as outlined in the FM Scholarship Program Guidelines and Procedures.
- Complete and submit the online application form and supporting documents by Thursday, January 27, 2022.
An independent selection committee from International Scholarship Tuition Services reviews applications and awards scholarships based on student performance in and out of school. ISTS specializes in providing scholarship, grant and tuition program management services.
