- Get Started: Expect a letter from Optum Bank with your HSA card and instructions for setting up your online account. If you do not receive it by 12/31/24, contact the HRSC (888-855-4357).
- Complete Any Required Follow-Up: If Optum Bank requires additional information or clarification, they will reach out to you via mail.
- Update Your Address: Optum will not open an HSA without your current physical address on file (A P.O. Box cannot be used for a savings account) Optum will send correspondence to your P.O. Box only of you have a current physical address on file.
- Manage Your HSA Online: Once your HSA is set up, visit optumbank.com to view your balance and track transactions made with your card.
- Monitor Your Contributions: The FMI contribution to your HAS will be available in early January. If you elected to make an individual contribution, they will be posted throughout the year. To update your individual contribution, please contact the HRSC.
