Safe Production Mine & Mill Updates

Pictured above is the 271 Pit Viper rental drill. Yesterday, Terry Crane and Epiroc rigged, pinned, and lowered the tower onto the drill and are working on connecting hydraulic lines. This rental drill is an integral part of our future Mine plan.

Vanessa DeViterbo and Matt Main lead the Mine Maintenance Safety Stand Down today. The participation from the group was very much appreciated and will benefit the department and the Mine moving forward.

The UT testing on the haul truck 106 frame is complete. Great collaboration between Henderson and Climax to get this testing done. We would like to thank Ryan Poole, Wes Bond, Zorig Boldbaatar, and Eric Benson.

Cory was nominated for demonstrated eagerness and motivation on a project he is assisting our Engineering depart with out in the Acid Plant. Way to go Cory! You have been Empowered!

Climax held its first post-pandemic All Hands meeting on 5/12!  Thanks to the 80+ employees who attended, and thanks to Vicki Seppala for presenting and answering employee questions.  If you missed this one, you have the opportunity to attend on 5/13, 5/16, or 5/19 at 6:30am in the auditorium.  All Hands meetings occur on a quarterly basis following FCX’s company quarterly results  presentation.
